The HX20 was the first true portable computer.
It was truly an all-in-one unit, with a keyboard, a small
display screen, a microcassette drive, and even a mini-printer
like you might see on an adding machine. Most importantly, it
ran on batteries, which reportedly kept the machine going an
impressive 50 hours between charges. The HX20 is so small that
it was pictured full size in a two-page magazine
advertisement.
